Immune-boosting Foods

The first foods that come to mind when talking about supporting the immune system are citrus fruits and maybe ginger.

But vitamin C is not the only important nutrient you should be looking for if you want to stay away from colds. Nor are citrus fruits the only ones that contain big quantities of it.

Other nutrients are also crucial for proper immune system function, and you may be missing out on them if you focus solely on vitamin C.

With 70-80% of the immune cells in the gut, the microbiome plays a crucial role in the development of the immune system's components. Are you feeding your microbiome the right foods? What can you do to limit the damage to your beneficial bacteria if you have to take antibiotics?

Poor quality or insufficient sleep weakens the body's defenses and can make your cold or flu last longer and feel worse. I will give recommandations as to how to improve your sleep and reduce the effects of stress.
